Porcelain mimics the look of tooth enamel, and can be dyed to match the natural coloring of your other teeth. This gives you a natural look and helps a crown blend in with the rest of your teeth.

They are Durable:

One of the biggest concerns with crowns is durability. Nobody wants to get a crown that is prone to cracking, chipping or breaking. Luckily, that is not something you have to worry about if you have a porcelain crown. Porcelain crowns are very durable, restoring function to a tooth that is chipped, cracked, or otherwise damaged. This allows the patient to chew and eat using that tooth again.
